Alfasensor has broad and deep knowledge in moisture and temperature measurement.
We are working in 5 different areas. Examples concerning present and recently finished projects.

Consulting – A food stuff producer in Europe has identified a problem concerning temperature chock in one of the phases of their industrial manufacturing process. They wish to investigate how this affects the finished product. Alfasensor presents a method for the customer to assemble the appropriate data concerning this matter and after that implementation, presentation of assembled data and proposals about actions to be taken.

Product development – maxit Group who is a market leading company in Europe in self-levelling concrete wants to be able to measure the drying out of its product. Alfasensor has together with our customer developed a measuring device named SCREEDRY .The product is specially designed for maxits requirements. The development is financed by our customer and Vinnova - Swedish Governmental Agency For Innovation Systems.

Tailor made products – SCA Packaging wants to be able to measure the amount of moisture that a corrugated board is exposed to during transport and storage. At 90% relative humidity corrugated board is about 50% weaker that at 50% humidity! The moisture measuring system that we have developed together with our customer SCA Packaging is called SCA Moisture monitoring system and is used in various customer contact situations such as packaging audits.

Training - Riksbyggen, a major Swedish construction company, wants to further improve the competence among their Quality Inspectors within the moisture area. Alfasensor carries out a tailor made internal training in different steps with some 20 participants from Riksbyggen. Together with Nordtec Instrument, a company marketing measuring devices, we organize courses in how to measure moisture within the industry.

Standard products – Anticimex examines with the help of Alfasensors standard humidity indicators if their customers have moisture problems in their crawl spaces. If so their customers are offered a dehumidifier. Alfasensor has solved Anticimex need for moisture measurement by using our standard product Probiks.
